Terms of Service
Last Updated: March 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Let's Change platform ("the Service"), operated by Let's Change ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.
2. Description of Service
Let's Change is a Campaign Management Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform that enables users to create digital petitions, gather verified signatures, broadcast email updates, track government handovers via an internal CRM, and generate formal PDF Executive Packs.
3. User-Generated Content and Liability Disclaimer
The Service allows users to create campaigns, post updates, and submit signatures containing personal comments.
No Endorsement: All views, opinions, campaigns, and demands expressed on the platform are strictly those of the registered users, campaign creators, and public signatories. They do not reflect the opinions, policies, or endorsements of Let's Change.
Technological Conduit: We act solely as a technological conduit for public mobilization. We do not manually pre-screen, verify the factual accuracy of, or endorse any campaign narrative or formal ask.
Limitation of Liability: Under no circumstances shall Let's Change, its directors, or employees be held liable for any direct, indirect, legal, or reputational damages arising from user-generated content, public campaigns, or the outcomes of government handovers. Campaign creators bear sole legal responsibility for their content.
4. Account Registration and Subscriptions
Tiers: The platform operates on Free, Premium (Monthly), and Ultimate (Lifetime) tiers. Premium and Ultimate features (such as White-Labeling, CSV Exports, and Marketing Pixels) are unlocked upon successful payment verification.
Billing & Taxation: All payments are processed via EFT. Upon verification of your Proof of Payment, an official Tax Invoice compliant with SARS and IFRS standards will be generated and issued based on the delivery date of the service.
Account Security: You are responsible for safeguarding your password and all activities occurring under your account.
5. Acceptable Use and Platform Integrity
You agree not to use the platform to:
Promote hate speech, incite violence, or engage in illegal activities under South African law.
Deploy automated scripts, bots, or fraudulent email addresses to artificially inflate signature counts. Our system actively monitors for and purges unverified or suspicious signature data.
Misuse the Supporter Broadcast email engine to send spam or unrelated commercial offers to signatories.
6. Marketing Tools and Tracking Pixels
Premium and Ultimate users have the ability to embed third-party tracking scripts (e.g., Meta Pixel, Google Analytics) into their campaign pages. Campaign creators are solely responsible for ensuring that their use of these tracking mechanisms complies with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA) and other relevant data privacy laws.
7. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
